This second issue of Emerge magazine is a 90 page A4 exhibition-like catalogue of works by emerging Irish artists. The theme of this issue is based on the popular experiment ‘Rat Park’. The magazine features a wide range of work related to the theme as well as interviews with contemporary Irish artists. Through paintings, print, photography, poetry, written and video pieces from some of the most talented emerging artists right now.
Emerge is a collective formed to give unestablished artists a space to display their work. Emerge is run as a non-profit run by emerging artists, for emerging artists. Through the magazine, website and exhibition spaces Emerge showcase contemporary Irish art.
