About the Artist

Edi Oliveira is a Brazilian visual/graphic artist living in Ireland since 2010. Her mission is to bring colour to people’s lives and homes, to spread happiness, and to encourage everyone to express themselves. One way she does that is through her art. She creates unique pieces, evoking a simple aesthetic appeal, yet that is able to speak to a deeper level. Spanning a multi- faceted career and interests, she’s also a PhD researcher studying women’s entrepreneurship (at TU Dublin) and a lecturer in Marketing. She has developed art workshops with people with disabilities and elderly people. She believes art and creativity have the power to connect people and bring a broader meaning to life.
