Etching and Aquatint
28 x 28 cm Unframed
Edition of 15
In 2019 Maria Mollohan discovered her passion for printmaking while climbing Croagh Patrick and joined the 4th year of the Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Art course at GMIT having worked as photographer and fashion designer since leaving Art College. A creative spirituality was reborn, if you will.
“Etching is my main passion. I love making 3-D out of 2-D and the opposite however using lino or wood allows me to still craft while creating other worlds where my figures live”. Etching ethnic musicians was her starting point in college and some images are printed on 10"and 12" circles to reflect old vinyl records.”
Maria would like to further her research into alternative printmaking techniques using Tetra pak, Cyanotype, Mokulito and Silk aquatint.
All postage costs for framed and unframed Works are processed separately following order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each individual case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for delivery costs.
