About the Artist

Mary is a Visual artist living in Dublin. Born in Wexford She studied at DIT in Dublin, and painting at Chelsea College of Art, London, and in New Zealand. She also lived in Belize and Kazakhstan, a place of vast landscapes and infinite white winters; during her time there (eleven years) She published two books of photojournalism on Central Asia. She repatriated to Dublin in 2014.

Mary became a member of Black Church Print Studio in 2016. She has been selected for group exhibitions including the RHA Annual Exhibition, RUA Annual Exhibition, Impressions Galway and Cairde, The Model Sligo. She carried out four large-scale wall mural commissions in Capitol Dock, Dublin. Her work is included in many public and private collections including The Office of Public Works, The Environmental Protection Agency, Devlin Hotel, Holles St. Hospital Collection, CITI, Wexford County Council Collection and Beat FM, Waterford. She participated in OVER NATURE, a touring exhibition. Most recently she was recipient of the Galway City Council Purchase Prize at Impressions 2019. DLR selected her for ‘Artworks Home’, supported by The Arts Council of Ireland. Her first Solo exhibition KEEL just finished in SO Fine Art Editions, Dublin.
