About the Artist

Sara Serpilli is an Italian Artist living in Ireland since 2015. She studied Contemporary Art and Photography in Paris, where she lived and worked as a freelance photographer for 8 years. For some unknown and mysterious reasons she decided that it was time to move to Ireland. Here she spent a few years working in the office because Art is draining sometimes and she wanted to work like everyone else and maybe one day pay a mortgage for a two bedroom flat. But Art got offended by such a selfish decision and three years ago she felt again the need of drawing, taking pictures and even studying Graphic design.

Her illustrations are strongly inspired by surrealism, psychology and Italian metaphysical paints. She works methodically to create very clean drawings impregnated with a slightly disturbing feeling.
