Dublin Art Book Fair 2018: Art and Architecture

This weekend, 22nd-25th November, find us at the 2018 edition of Dublin Art Book Fair. We’ll be upstairs with a great selection of theory books, magazines, Photobooks on architecture, design, photography and beyond!

Temple Bar Gallery and Studios present the eighth edition of the Fair, guest curated by architectural and cultural historian, Dr. Ellen Rowley. The theme Art and Architecture sees a special focus on Uncovering Libraries and Collections. Alongside the Fair is an expansive programme of free events, curated by Dr. Ellen Rowley, taking place at TBG+S as well as throughout the city. The schedule of events includes site-specific performances, workshops, walking tours, readings, children’s activities, panel discussions and illustrated lectures. Works by artists involved in the events programme will be exhibited as part of the book fair at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios: Isadora Epstein, Andreas Kindler von Knobloch, Aisling McCoy, Liliane Puthod, Alice Rekab & Alison Ballance, Tamsin Snow and Tanad Williams.

A new feature of the Dublin Art Book Fair is the Children’s Section which includes an eight-week educational programme and a large-scale installation made collaboratively between 6th class pupils from Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, Parnell Square, artists Andreas Kindler von Knobloch and Tanad Williams and architect, Donal Hickey.
