Art Bookshop Ireland

The Library Project this January

on January 04, 2022

Every January, The Library Project art bookshop closes to accommodate an exhibition by Black Church Print Studio. Bookshop visitors can still browse and shop online at thelibraryproject.ie with free collections being facilitated and international postage available. The exhibition Living Balance will run 13-30th January. The Library Project art bookshop will re-open fully as Ireland’s Art Bookshop in early February.

Living Balance Exhibition

Running 13-30 January
Opening Hours Tue-Sat 12-6pm

Living Balance will launch the celebration of Black Church Print Studio’s 40th Anniversary and their contribution to the Irish Arts Scene over the last 40 years. The artists and writers in Living Balance work with print in its widest definition. They look to the traditions of the process reaching to its earthed materials such as copper, stone and soil, weaving them along with their concepts. Caoimhe Dalton, Kate Fahey, Manchán Magan, Suzanne Walsh, and Hazel Egan‘s works investigate elements of ritual, pattern, voice, language and re-wilding. Curated by Debi Paul, winner of Black Church Emerging Curator Award. Find out more at Black Church Print Studio.
