About the Artist

Andrew Edgar is an artist-producer, new media practitioner and creative technician. While he works primarily in the realms of audiovisual installation and events production, he also creates work in the field of glitch art, and has recently become enamoured with risography. Between 2016 and 2022, he had
work exhibited at the annual /’fu:bar/ expo in Zagreb, an arts festival “focusing on electronic error-themed reinterpretative multimedia art”. He lives in the foothills of the Dublin mountains.

His print process begins with digital photographs, which he manipulates mainly as data rather than images, changing the character encoding scheme of a bitmap file to wilfully induce glitches, then rotating the resulting image, and repeating the process iteratively. The results he pursues are ones which tend towards an uneasy organic aesthetic that belies the digital roots of the procedure. Selected iterations of this process serve as the masters for risographic prints.

Postage and Collection

We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. Framed prints are no longer posted. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each individual case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for delivery costs.

Alternatively, free Click-and-Collect is available from The Library Project at 4 Temple Bar Street, D02YK53 during opening hours.
