FUTURES Artists 2024 Catalogue

FUTURES is a European photography platform that pools the resources and talent programmes of leading photography institutions across Europe in order to increase the capacity, mobility and visibility of its selected artists. By bringing together a wealth of resources and curatorial expertise, each talent selected by the Futures members gains access to an unprecedented network of professionals, markets and audiences.

Each year, the FUTURES platform welcomes a diverse group of emerging artists from around the world to participate in a long-term programme that provides numerous opportunities for them to develop their projects and advance their careers. Through the programme, they will have the opportunity to connect with other professionals in the art world and build valuable relationships, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for cross-cultural exchange.

FUTURES is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The platform works as a growing network of 18 prominent institutions operating in the field of photography, of which PhotoIreland is the Irish member. The Irish Talents presented in 2024 and part of this catalogue are Berta Mars, Chris Finnegan, Debbie Castro, Leon Nevill Gallagher, and Sarah Navan.
