'A HAMMER' by Monsieur Bdfkhbuhrbkfg is both a response and an invitation to Martin Heidegger's dynamic and treacherous 'Being and Time', also drawing on the history of scholarship written in response to this work.
Philosophy and ludic/rous poems to offer a response to the question: What might "being" mean now between us? The element of comedy, of the ridiculous, emerges from an encounter with the friction and fraying at the limits of what can be said. It is intended as an invitation to all curious readers to take up and examine the tools which 'Being and Time' offers for thinking about 'what is it to be' and for pushing language beyond itself. Equally important are the limits, concealed barbs and traps of the approach.
