In 2013, Daragh Soden spent 6 months teaching in a school in a small town in Ghana, West Africa. In 2018, he returned to make this series of photographs. In The Heart Of Darkness is inspired by the death of a young boy during Soden’s first visit to Ghana. The softcover publication is accompanied by a memorial card for the boy, Nelson.
