The publication shows a cross-section of installations, interventions and site-specific works and works in public space by Rainer Nöbauer-Kammerer. He obtains some of the materials used in his artistic projects from urban resources. Dissolving categorizations, relating disciplines such as natural and cultural studies to existing situations, skeptically reflecting on art in public space and dealing with monument culture and expanding it through new approaches are among his interdisciplinary practices.
Rainer Nöbauer-Kammerer (* 1979 in Linz) lives and works in Linz-Puchenau (AT). After training as a sculptor, he studied fine arts and cultural studies at the Linz Art University. Numerous awards and grants.
